Games to be awarded to Los Antréal. LOS
ANTRÉAL (WBS)-The
first ever Micro-Monde games are to be held in Los Antréal, Tebec.
Tebec Governier, Scott Noseworthy presented his bid today, after plans
to extend the bid date. After this was done, it was shortened once
again, and the games were awarded to the western Ameradian town. The
games will take place in October, 2002 from the 7th until the 18th. The
LA 2002 organizers have announced a preliminary schedule, and a list of
venues, which include the University of Tebec, both local arenas, the
Football Stadium, and the TebecDome. A press release can be found here Junior
Baseball Playoffs to begin in Tebec LOS
ANTRÉAL (WBS)-While
professional baseball didn't work out in Amerada as a whole, Tebec has
organized a Junior Baseball league that began in June. Now, they are
ready for the playoffs. There are 4 teams, and just 2 make that
playoffs. Those 2 teams playoff in a best of 5 series that began July
27th. It will be the University of Tebec Thrashers (8-4) vs. The Los
Antréal Miners (8-4) in the final. Final
